Vivek J. Tiwary

Vivek J. Tiwary has scored a Hollywood first after securing the rights to early Beatles songs for his upcoming Brian Epstein biopic.

His movie about the Fab Four's manager marks the first time a moviemaker has ever secured rights to include Beatles songs in a film about the band.

Tiwary, whose movie will be an adaptation of his own upcoming graphic novel, titled The Fifth Beatle, has signed a deal with SonyATV bosses to use songs from the John LennonPaul McCartney music catalog.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Tiwary, a lifetime fan of the Fab Four and Epstein, has been given unprecedented access to The Beatles vaults.

His graphic novel about the legendary svengali is set for release next year (13).
