Bruce Campbell Confirms The Evil Dead Remake

Bruce Campbell has confirmed reports suggesting cult horror movie The Evil Dead is set for a remake.
 
Campbell starred in the 1981 Sam Raimi film and he opened his Twitter.com account last week (ends08Jul11) with big news about the director's plans to revamp his own feature film debut.
 
Asked by a follower if The Evil Dead remake reports were true, he tweeted, "Believe in the remake, dawg!

"The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell."
 
Internet reports suggest Campbell will be a big part of the new film, which will start shooting in Michigan later this summer (11).
