Cameron Diaz Cast In Green Hornet

Cameron Diaz has confirmed that she is play Lenore Case in the new Green Hornet movie.

Seth Rogen has long since been linked to the project and he will take on the lead role. The film is an adaptation of the hit TV series that ran until 1952.

Speaking to MTV the actress said: "Lenore, yes, and I think that's all I can tell you or else I would have to kill you. I read the whole script.

"I know what happens exactly, and I'm not telling you."

Rogen takes on the role of a millionaire playboy who becomes a masked vigilante who tackles the crime in the city with his sidekick Kato.

Nicolas Cage has been linked to the role of the villain for the film but that has not been confirmed.

The Green Hornet is expected to reach cinemas in 2010.
