Cate Blanchett has revealed that she would love to be a Bond villain.
The twenty third Bond movie, Skyfall is currently filming and Blanchett says that she would jump at the chance to work on the franchise in the future.
Harper's Bizarre asked the actress if she would like to be a Bond villain and she said: "Oh God! Yes! I'd be there in a heartbeat.
"I love Lotte Lenya (who played Rosa). She had a club foot and a limp. I'm not a purist in that way."
We haven't seen Blanchett on the big screen since she played the villainous Marissa in Joe Wright's last movie Hanna.
She is currently reprising the role of Galadriel in The Hobbit, which is currently filming in New Zealand.
The two movies reunite her with The Lord of the Rings filmmaker Peter Jackson.
She also has two Terrence Malick projects in the pipeline.
