Catherine Deneuve Set For Thai Honour.French film beauty CATHERINE DENEUVE will be the guest of honour at the Bangkok International Film Festival in the Thai capital this month (24FEB06).The BELLE DE JOUR actress will receive the 2006 Golden Kinnaree Career Achievement award for her 50 years on the big screen at a gala ceremony on 24 February (06). Her first major film role in the 1964 movie THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG will be screened at the event.CRAIG PRATER, Executive Director of the Bangkok International Film Festival, enthuses, "We are extremely pleased to have Ms Deneuve join us this year. Her impressive career brings a new level of excellence to the festival and her presence in Bangkok will surely be one of this year's highlights."Stars VANESSA REDGRAVE, CHRISTOPHER LEE, WILLEM DAFOE and TERRY GILLIAM will attend the festival, which runs 17-27 February.
