Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is looking to expand her career on the stagewith a one-woman play after making her Broadway debut in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC.

I just have to figure out the concept

And the star admits she'd love to be the center of attention in her ownsolo show - she just has to come up with the perfect storyline first.

She tells Usa Today, "One of my biggest dreams is to do a one-woman show, with dancing and singing. I just have to figure out the concept".

In the meantime, Zeta-Jones wants to try starring in a more traditional performance. She adds, "I want to do a straight play next".

Zeta-Jones portrays Glynis Johns' beloved role of Desiree in Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, which features hits like Send in the Clowns and Every Day a Little Death.

The Welsh actress started out as a star on London's West End and won anOscar for her portrayal of Velma Kelly in movie musical Chicago.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was treated to a brand new puppy for her 40th birthday after dropping big hints to her husband Michael Douglas.

The Hollywood stars have relocated their family from Bermuda to New York while the actress performs in Broadway play A Little Night Music and Douglas shoots Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in Manhattan.

But the move meant Zeta-Jones had to leave behind her beloved menagerie of pets - so Douglas decided to surprise the Chicago star with a new pooch on 25 September (09), the same day the actor celebrated his 65th birthday.

She says, "I've a bit of my own zoo, I left four of my Labradors there (in Bermuda). But my husband actually, for my birthday, I was desperate for a little Coton De Tulear dog. He's the sweetest little thing, he's only six months old."
