Chris Noth can't help lying about 'Sex and the City'.
The actor - who plays Carrie Bradshaw's husband Mr. Big in the TV series and movie - says he accidentally started several rumours about the movie's plot by failing to be truthful during interviews.
He said: "During the movie I made up so many lies. The media took it so seriously it always blew my mind. They'd say, 'What's Mr. Big's real name?' and I'd say. 'Joe!' and they'd go 'Joe!?!' "

The 'Sex and the City' sequel is currently being written but Chris refused to be drawn on rumours that the new film will see his character and Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie become parents.
He added to Access Hollywood: "See, that's another lie. I've got my own baby. I don't know about Mr. Big. I think that came from someone who asked, 'Could he handle it?' Of course he could handle it - with a lot of help, which he can afford, depending on whether he had his money with Bernie Madoff. Hopefully Mr. Big didn't."
