Christoph Waltz Praises Brad Pitt

Christoph Waltz has claimed that Brad Pitt is responsible for the success of Inglourious Basterds.

Inglourious Basterds is the latest movie from Quentin Tarantino, and it has been his most successful since it's release last year.

Speaking to Wenn Waltz said: "Without Brad this movie probably wouldn't have gone ahead and Brad is one of the biggest stars in the world.

"He could have refused to offer a helping hand, not only has he offered it, he has actually ignited it.

"I really think this movie in 10 to 15 years time will have won a place in history like many of these watershed, pivotal movies."

He added: "He's (Tarantino's) just very much ahead of his time, and he always has been."

Despite Waltz's praise for his co-star it is he who has been grabbing all of the award headlines. He is favourite to scoop the Best Supporting Actor Oscar after winning the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Bafta awards for his performance.

Inglourious Basterds has also been nominated for Best Picture with Quentin Tarantino bagged nods for Best Director and Best original Screenplay.
