Tom Cruise wowed fans at the London premiere of 'Collateral' last night by going on a three-hour 'walkabout'.The heartthrob actor signed autographs, spoke to fans and chatted on their mobile phones - something which has become the actor's trademark.
One male fan even got the Hollywood star to propose to his girlfriend on his behalf over the phone. The mammoth meet-and-greet beat Cruise's previous 'walkabout' record by a whole hour, also eclipsing Will Smith's two-hour effort at the premiere of 'I-Robot'.
When quizzed about the marathon session, Tom said: "That's great! I hear I beat my record." However, one cheeky fan told the 42-year-old star he should get back together with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman.
Teenager Aran Buck passed Tom his phone to speak to his mum, Lina - but the 50-year-old woman stunned the 'Last Samurai' star by giving him relationship advice.
Aran said: "She was almost speechless. She suggested he get back with Nicole but he pretended not to hear it."
Cruise's co-star, Jada Pinkett-Smith, also attended the premiere and thrilled the crowds by wearing a revealing gold dress.
