Daniel Radcliffe says 'Harry Potter' fans should just close their eyes to avoid upsetting scenes.

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' - the sixth instalment of the wizarding franchise - has been given a PG rating despite being described as the "darkest" of the movies so far, but the actor insists the classification is appropriate.

He said: "I'm sure they'll be able to cope. And if they don't like it, just close their eyes and then open them again in about a minute or so, and then rejoin the film. It's fine.

"I really don't see that as being a problem."

Daniel's co-star Emma Watson says she was delighted to be back as bookworm Hermione Grainger because the latest movie has a good mix of dark material and comedic scenes.

She explained: "It was nice to be back and to know that this film is, to me, more of a romantic comedy than ever before and that we would have a chance to focus more on that side of things.

"Sometimes I have to bring myself back with Hermione, because she is so innocent and so naive and she really is very vulnerable in this film. She really does get her heart broken."
