David Tennant would be happy to appear in further 'Fright Night' movies if the first film in the reboot makes enough money.

David Tennant would like to make more 'Fright Night' movies.

The director said to me he liked the scrawny British look. 'Don't dare be going to the gym.' It's certainly natural, yeah.

The former 'Doctor Who' star appears alongside Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin in the remake of the classic 80s vampire hit, and he admits he is happy to return to play the role of eccentric neighbour Peter if the film is a success.

He told BBC Radio 2: "I imagine, and again I'm new to all this, but I imagine it depends on how our opening weekend goes. I can't speak for everyone else, I don't know if I'm meant to divulge that information, it's like top secret, there were clauses yes. I'll still be there at 75, hopefully keeping my shirt on by then. There might be another couple."

The 40-year-old actor appears topless in the film - about a young boy who is convinced his neighbour is killing people by sucking their blood - and he thinks he was chosen to look "scrawny".

He said: "The director said to me he liked the scrawny British look. 'Don't dare be going to the gym.' It's certainly natural, yeah."
