Dominic Cooper forgets he starred in 'Mamma Mia!'

The British actor - who is dating Amanda Seyfried, who plays his on-screen fiancee in the musical movie - doesn't always remember he was a part of the hit film.

He told The Scotsman: "Every day I hear something about it - about someone's daughter who watches it ten times a day - everyone from two year olds to 48 year olds love it. I don't really feel like I was in it."

Despite starring in the movie with his girlfriend Amanda, the 31-year-old actor - who also starred alongside Meryl Streep, Julie Walters and Pierce Brosnan in the film - has complained the 23-year-old actress gets all the attention while he is barely recognised.

While fans of the film have become "obsessed" with the blonde beauty since the film was released in 2008, Dominic says it felt like more of a "holiday".

He quipped: "Whenever I'm with Amanda people are obsessed with her. I'm often just standing there and I don't even get recognised. So I feel it was just a holiday for me. I was just visiting Amanda on her film."
