Ellen DeGeneres is set to voice a character in new animated movie 'Dog Show'.

The US talk show host - who provided the voice for Dory in the 2003 Disney/Pixar hit 'Finding Nemo' - has been working closely with screenwriters on the upcoming Warner Brothers animation.

Though the major plotlines are being kept secret the film will revolve around a stray dog and her misfit friends who cause trouble at an upper-class dog show.

Writer John Glenn and producer David Manpearl developed the idea with screenwriters Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simon - the brains behind DreamWorks animation 'MasterMind' which will be released in 2010.
