Emma Watson has called her kissing scene in The Perks of Being A Wallflower as the 'most beautiful' she had ever read.

The actress is set to make a return to the big screen as she teams up with Logan Lerman in the big screen adaptation of Stephen Chbosky novel.

And Watson admits that she found it to an emotional scene when she read it and was keen to do it justice on screen.

"I mean, when I read our first kiss scene, it's so epic. It's like the most beautiful scene I've ever seen written on a page.

"And it was like, 'Oh, we're going to have to kill this one!' Like, it's so good, I wanted to do it justice.

"And it's so emotional and we're both so vulnerable in it, but the main thing was I get to do it with Logan.

"He makes me feel so safe, so it's going to be fine, which made it fine."

The Perks of Being A Wallflower is the first movie for Watson since she appeared in My Week With Marilyn last year.

The actress is currently filming Noah as she teams up with director Darren Aronofsky and Russell Crowe.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is released 3rd October.
