Eva Longoria Goes to the Other Side

Eva Longoria is to play a ghost in her latest film.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress will play the dead fiancée of 'Romeo and Juliet' star Paul Rudd in 'How I met my Boyfriend's Dead Fiancée'. Eva's spooky character tries to keep her boyfriend away from a female psychic who falls in love with him.

Filming starts at the end of August. Eva, 31, will only work on the movie at weekends as she will be shooting the next series of 'Desperate Housewives' during the week. The actress rocketed to fame playing fiery-tempered Gabrielle Solis in the hugely successful US TV show.
