Mendes Lands Pleasure Role

Actress Eva Mendes has been cast in her sweetest role to date - as a Global Pleasure Ambassador for an ice-cream brand.

The Hitch star has been recruited by Magnum ice-cream to work alongsidethe firm's Professor of Pleasure, who is conducting the world's largest study into the causes of happiness.

She says, "I'm really happy to be Magnum's Pleasure Ambassador because I am a huge chocolate fan. And I'm also a big pleasure seeker and believe in guiltless pleasure. If you're going to do it then just enjoy every second of it, life's too short!"

Mendes is also set to host a Pleasure Summit in Europe next month (Apr09).
