The stars come out to support "Food, Inc"

Last night at The Curzon Mayfair Stella McCartney hosted the UK Premiere of Dogwoof’s Oscar® Nominated documentary Food, Inc. which is released in cinemas on Friday, with a day of Nationwide screenings on Monday 15th February.
McCartney was joined by her family, friends and a range of luminaries from the world of fashion, film and food. Guests included Mary McCartney; BAFTA winning actress Thandie Newton; actor Richard E Grant; legendary fashion designer and activist Vivienne Westwood; Michelin starred chefs Raymond Blanc and Tom Aikens.
Introduced to the stage by Dogwoof’s Andy Whittaker, along with Food, Inc. director Robby Kenner, Co-producer Eric Schlosser (author of Fast Food Nation) and In-House Founder Katrina Pavlos, Stella said "This is the most incredible film I have ever seen and everyone should see it. Once you've seen this film, you'll be educated to know how to make responsible decisions about what you buy.
"At the end of the day, the biggest way to let these corporations know you don't want this product and deserve a better product is by stopping demand"."
After the film a panel discussion with Schlosser, Kenner, Soil Association Director, Patrick Holden CBE and Gary Hirshberg, Chairman of Stonyfield Farm raised a huge applause from the audience and prompted guests to make substantial donations to the Soil Association amounting to over £1,500.
Guests then joined the filmmakers and Stella McCartney at a party in Bruton Street at Stella’s flagship London Store.
Food and drink enjoyed by guests included vegetarian hot dogs, mini burgers and veggie chicken sticks by Linda McCartney food; Veggie Pizza by Amy's Kitchen; Organic Tea by Numi teas; Natural Ice cream by Ben & Jerrys; Organic Cake by Amy's Kitchen; Organic Wine by Chateau Musar and Organic Sparkling wine by Vintage Roots.
