Gulliver's Travels has become the first number one movie at the UK box office as it charged to the top spot this week.
The Jack Black movie may be struggling elsewhere but this retelling of a famous tale toppled Little Fockers from the number one spot as it grossed just over £7 million.
Gulliver is a perpetual underachiever and wannabe travel writer at a New York newspaper.
When he finally makes an effort to actually venture out the city to write a travel piece, a storm-tossed voyage lands him on an island inhabited by tiny folks called Lilliputians.
After a rocky beginning, the gargantuan Gulliver becomes an inspiration to his new six-inch-tall friends.
Little Fockers slipped one place to number two while the new entry dominated the top five. Love & Other Drugs, which sees Anne Hathaway reunite with Jake Gyllenhaal was in at three.
The Way Back, the new movie from Peter Weir, was the third and final new entry inside the top five while Voyage of the Dawn Treader was down three at number five.
Tron: Legacy and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 were also the biggest movers this week as they were also down three at six and seven.
Megamind was down two at eight while The Tourist and Animals United also sell two places to round off the chart at nine and ten.
