Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has spent a second week at the top of the Aussie box office.

The film is still riding a crest wave of success also staying in the number one spot in the UK, despite being toppled in the States. In just two weeks the film has grossed over $633 million at the global box office.

There was no change at number two either as Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs saw off any competition.

But it was up a place for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as it moved from four to three. Horror movie Drag Me to Hell was the first new entry on the chart this week at number four.

Bruno dropped two places from number three to round off the top five.

The only other new entry inside the top ten was Cheri, which sees Michelle Pfeiffer reunite with Dangerous Liaisons filmmaker Stephen Frears.
