Helen Mirren 'Seduced' Into Taking Arthur Role

Helen Mirren has revealed that Russell Brand 'seduced' her into taking on her role in Arthur.

The pair reunite, having worked together on The Tempest, for a remake of the Dudley Moore classic.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "He totally seduced me, the way he does.

"I defy any male or female to spend two hours with him and not be completely charmed and not say, 'Yeah, fine, I'll do whatever you want.'"

It's already been a busy year for Mirren with the release of The Tempest and she has also completed work on The Door.

Based on the novel by Magda Szabo the movie is directed by Istvan Szabo and also stars Marina Gedeck.

Arthur is released 22nd April
