Sir Ian McKellen would love to appear in an 'X-Men' spin-off.The 'Lord of the Rings' star says he would jump at the chance to reprise his role as Magneto from the superhero franchise and admits a script is already in existence.He told the BBC Website: "I think it's a very good series. "There is a script knocking around for a spin-off, but it will be a younger Magneto, so if I were involved it would just be topping and tailing the story."The 69-year-old actor also revealed details of the new version of 'The Prisoner' that he is set to star in.He added: "I was talking to the producer yesterday about the details and I've seen the full cast list which is extremely impressive."I haven't read the final script yet, it's due next week - but it's very grown-up television.
