Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds has topped the UK box office knocking The Time Traveler's Wife from the number one spot.
The World War II movie follows a group of Jewish-American commandos, led by Brad Pitt, as they are set behind enemy lines to kill Nazis.
This comes just days after the movie topped the box office in America and now Inglourious Basterds is the most successful opening for a Tarantino movie, breaking the record set by Kill Bill Vol 2.
The Time Traveler's Wife had to settle for the number two spot after just one week at the top while G-Force hung onto the third spot.
Aliens in the Attic fell two places from two to four while Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince rounded off the top five.
The penultimate story in the Potter Saga has grossed £48.2 million in the UK six it's release back in July.
There was only one other new release in the top ten this week and that came in the form of Spoof Movie Dance Flick.
Despite being universally panned by the critics the film opened at number six.
