Isla Fisher "lost the will to live" trying on costumes for 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'.
The actress was amazed at how arduous the process was to find the right outfits for her fashion-loving character Rebecca Bloomwood - but eventually grew to love the discussions about clothes and accessories.
She said: "The first fitting was twelve hours long and I lost the will to live at about two hours. We were having conversations about belts that went for 45 minutes... about a belt. I was starting to sweat, I couldn't handle it at all.
It was terrifying. Imagine how disappointed I would've been as a fan of the books if an actress didn't capture the essence of Rebecca Bloomwood.
"Then, as I got used to the process, it was really an education. And I learned all the fabulous lingo that goes with fashion, like 'transeasonal', and 'deconstructed', and 'contrasting... flubalala'. And it was really interesting."
Isla also admitted she was nervous about taking on the role because she was such a fan of the novels that the movie is based on.
She added: "It was terrifying. Imagine how disappointed I would've been as a fan of the books if an actress didn't capture the essence of Rebecca Bloomwood."
