Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed that no major working out is required for his new movie role.
The actor is set to play a history teacher in An Enemy, which is a big screen adaptation of the novel by Jose Saramago.
The actor had to get into some serious shape for his role in the likes of Prince of Persia but not this time around.
Speaking to Details the actor said: "I haven't cycled in a long time. I don't run anymore.
"Do I take care of my body and take conditioning seriously? Yes. But exercising regularly doesn't fit the energy of the character I'm playing now."
We haven't seen Gyllenhaal on the big screen since Source Code but he has also completed work on End of Watch and Nailed.
