James Corden was worried his new movie would be like a "Benny Hill" show.
The British actor was initially concerned 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' resembled the smutty slapstick of the British comedian's UK TV shows - which typically saw scantily-clad women being chased around by men to silly music.
James said: "At one point, I had visions, thinking, 'God, this could be done to 'The Benny Hill Show' music.' It made me realise it's hard to make a film. I understand how things go wrong."

However, James - who stars in the movie alongside his 'Gavin and Stacey' co-star Mathew Horne - admits his fears were unfounded and he is immensely proud of the film.
He said: "It was great just acting, not having the pressure of having written the script. I'm impressed that it doesn't look like a British film. After the first 20 minutes, it really kicks in and looks like an American teen flick.
"Ultimately it's a comedy horror and there is nothing gratuitous in it."
