James Marsden is set to land a role in new comedy 'Nailed'.The 'X-Men' actor is in final negotiations, along with Catherine Keener and Tracy Morgan, to appear in the risqué romantic satire.Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal have already been unveiled as the stars of the film, which will be directed by David O. Russell.Biel will play shy receptionist Sammy Joyce who displays outrageous behaviour after she is shot in the head with a nail.Her injury inspires her to travel to Washington to fight for the rights of other people who have been involved in bizarre accidents.Gyllenhaal will portray an immoral congressman who takes advantage of Sammy's wild ways and uses her campaign to further his own career.Marsden is set to land the role of Sammy's concerned boyfriend.

Keener looks likely to play a congresswoman, while Morgan will portray Sammy's injured friend who has given up on love.

Filming is due to begin in South Carolina and Connecticut on April 14.

'Nailed' is scheduled to be released next year.
