James Marsden's CGI Struggle

James Marsden has admitted that he found working with the CGI in his new movie Hop difficult.

Marsden is back on the big screen this week but found interacting with the animated characters the most challenging part of the shoot.

Speaking to Coming Soon the actor said: "I can't stand these kind of movies where you see the characters and it doesn't look like they're interacting.

"I was always encouraging the animation artists and everybody to let me physically interact with him - putting him on my back and things like that - because I think there's a disconnect when you're working without an animated character who will eventually be there.

"That bothers me, when it doesn't work. Above the acting, that was the most important thing for me on this one."

Hop sees Marsden star alongside Kaley Cuoco and Elizabeth Perkins while Russell Brand lend his voice to the character of E.B.

Hop is released 1st April.
