A change in the cast for the ambitious, double feature plan now called The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Hers.
Couple of months ago, Joel Edgerton was announced to play the male half of married couple with Jessica Chastain as his wife. Due to scheduling issues, Edgerton has been replaced with James McAvoy.
Director Ned Benson was responsible for coming up with both scripts and will direct the movie duo, which follows the emotional fallout when Chastain decides to go back to college and the impact it has on McAvoy's restaurant owner.
While the two films are planned as standalone productions, they will tell the same story from the couples'differing perspectives, a challeng that will be particularly tough to pull off. It hasn't been announced yet when will the two movies air in cinemas and in what order. But with Chastain and McAvoy in the lead roles, expectations are high.
McAvoy has a few films trudgding through post-produtction, including Welcome To The Punch, Filth and Trance.
