James McAvoy is sporting a shiny new smile after having his crooked teeth fixed.
The Atonement star has previously laughed off suggestions he should undergo dental work, joking that he will only get his teeth fixed when "they all fall out", but he has now been spotted showing off a new and improved look.
McAvoy has had his teeth whitened and straightened, according to Scotland's Sunday Mail, with a source telling the publication, "It's not the full Hollywood smile. It's very subtle."
2011 has already been a busy year for the actor after finding success with the animation genre as he lent his voice to Gnomeo & juliet at the beginnning of 2011.
This summer he topped the box office along with Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Rose Byrne and Jennifer Lawrence in X-Men: First Class.
The movie saw McAvoy take over the role of Charles Xavier as Matthew Vaughn took the story back to the sixites.
He has already lent his voice to Arthur Christmas and has been linled to Welcome to the Punch and Trance.
