Janet McTeer has heaped praise on Daniel Radcliffe for taking on a new challenge with The Woman in Black.
The Harry Potter star is set to lead the cast in a big screen adaptation of the Susan Hill novel in which McTeer is set to take on the role of Mrs Daily.
And the actress says it's great to see him tackle something new and had nothing but praise for his acting ability.
Speaking to E! Online the actor said: "He's so incredibly intelligent and incredibly bright. He's trying to do something totally new to him - very, very, very talented."
And while this maybe a new challenge for the young actor McTeer believes that Potter fans are going to enjoy the movie and his performance.
"I imagine some of them will like it, but I imagine some of them will want him to be Potter.
"For some it will take a bit of adjustment to realise he's not just Harry Potter but he's an actor who is now doing some fantastic things."
As well as having The Woman In Black on the horizon the actress is also set to star in Albert Nobbs in the new year.
The Woman In Black is released 10 February 2012.
