Jason Statham feels trapped into doing his own stunts.

The 'Transporter' star says because he once said he enjoyed getting involved in action scenes on his movies, he feels obliged not to have a body double in any of his action roles in order to prove himself.

The British hardman also revealed he loves locking lips with his female co-stars because it is preferable to having a regular job

He said: "I've sort of dug my own grave there. It was a stupid thing for me to say years ago, 'Yeah, I'll do all my own stunts.' Then it became, 'Oh, dear. I suppose I've got to do it again now.' So now I do have to keep proving to myself and people that it is me in the middle of the action. And I have a long catalogue of injuries that I won't bore you with to prove it."

The British hardman also revealed he loves locking lips with his female co-stars because it is preferable to having a regular job.

He added to Parade.com: "Kissing scenes are not just another day on set. First off, you have to get ready. You don't want to go and have a big cheese and onion sandwich before you do some love scene. Then you try and make the lady feel as comfortable as you can. After that, you just get on with it.

"Actually, it's nice to get paid for that kind of work, isn't it? It's not like digging a ditch."
