Javier Bardem has pulled out of starring in 'Wall Street 2'.
The Oscar-winning actor had been lined up to play a hedge fund manager in the Oliver Stone-directed sequel - provisionally titled 'Money Never Sleeps' - but has dropped out of the project due to other commitments.
Javier's spokesperson said: Though he loves Oliver Stone, he's had five or six other offers."
The news has been seen as a blow by many, who believed the 'No Country For Old Men' star's demeanour would have been perfect for the role.
One source said: "His whole emotionless expression would have fit that role perfectly. Successful traders need a bit of a steely demeanor where nothing shakes you, and he epitomises that."
