Dragon Dominates Annie Awards

How To Train Your Dragon was the big winner at the Annie Awards on Saturday (05Feb11) after Disney boycotted the animation prize giving.

The 3D film is expected to lose out to Disney's Toy Story 3 at the Oscars later this month (Feb11), but How to Train Your Dragon had a moment of glory in Hollywood at the weekend.

The DreamWorks production picked up 10 trophies, including Best Pictureand a voice-acting prize for Jay Baruchel.

Toy Story 3 was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the International Animated Film Society prizegiving, along with Disney's Tangled, but studio bosses pulled out of the event in a dispute over voting procedures.
