Jennifer Connelly wants to do an action film.

The actress - who is married to Paul Bettany - would be keen to play a superhero as she would enjoy the training that's involved to get the perfect body.

Jennifer, who provides the voice of 7 in new animated movie '9', said: "I would love to, by the way, because that sounds like so much fun to me. My husband is doing an action film now and he's training and it just looks like so much fun.

But making '9' was great, too. It was a great, great character but I didn't have to stress out about my moves and whether I could pull it off.

Jennifer also revealed she enjoyed the experience of only having to provide her voice for a movie as it was so different from other films she had made.

She said: "I enjoyed it. I mean, you feel differently about it than a film that you're shooting for so many months.

"I had a great time. I would certainly do it again, but it feels very different than that level of involvement that you have working on a live action film."
