Jennifer Lopez credits her toddler twins with giving her a new perspective on tackling movie roles.

The actress/singer gave birth to Max and Emme last year (08), her first children with husband Marc Anthony, and put her career on hold to stay at home to nurse her babies.

She has now returned to at work and is busy filming The Back-Up Plan, which sees her portray a woman who undergoes artificial insemination.

And Lopez admits playing a movie mum is different now she is a real-life parent.

She says, "I'd done it before, I'd had children in movies. But now I have a whole new perspective.

"It's so totally different than you could ever imagine - what you feel and how it changes you, and how you see things."
