Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that he isn't comfortable at awards ceremonies.

The actor has been under the awards spotlight over the last few weeks after his performance in The Social Network, which has seen him pick up a Best Actor Oscar nomination.

And while critics and fans are raving about his central performance in the David Fincher movie the actor still questions whether he should be at these awards.

Speaking to US Weekly the actor said: "I have this general sense of feeling like I don't belong, although I talk to a lot of other people who I think of as very much belonging and they have the same feeling, so I think it's just a room full of insecure actors.

Continuing Eisenberg joked: "I feel like when I was 13 and I had to go to Bar Mitzvahs every weekend, and this is like the same feeling.

"I put on a suit every weekend to go and meet with a lot of Jews."

The Social Network has also bee nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, after it picked up the Golden Globe just a few weeks ago.

It is possibly a two way fight between the Facebook movie and Tom Hooper's The King's Speech.
