John Travolta Cast As John Gotti

John Travolta has officially signed on to star as notorious crime boss John Gotti in a new biopic.
 
The Grease star has been linked to the role since last year (10) and reportedly met with the gangster's son John Gotti, Jr., in January (11).
 
The mafia don's daughter, Victoria, also gave the actor her stamp of approval to play her dad and now bosses at Fiore Films have confirmed Travolta's involvement in director Nick Cassavetes' movie.
 
Full details about Gotti: Three Generations will be unveiled in a news conference on 12 April (11) in New York.
