Johnny Depp has revealed that he was not a fan of the bugs whilst filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The actor returns to the big screen next week as Captain Jack Sparrow for the fourth movie in the franchise.
But shooting in Hawaii did have one drawback - the bugs which the actor admits he was not comfortable with.
Speaking on Lorraine the actor said: "There were some strange noises in the jungle. Geoffrey [Rush] comes from Australia - everything there is poisonous, everything, even the beer at times.
"So yes, there were some really strange creatures out there in the wilds of Hawaii.
"Things with like a million legs and pinchers and stuff like that. I had some trepidation. I'm still scared."
On Stranger Tides is the first Pirates movie since at World's End back in 2007 but Rob Marshall is in the director's chair this time around.
Depp has already enjoyed success with Rango and has a whole host of projects in the pipeline.
The Rum Diary hits the big screen later this year while he has already completed work on Hugo Cabret.
He is also set to star in Dark Shadows as well as 21 Jump Street.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released 18th May.
