Johnny Depp Doesn't Regret The Tourist

Johnny Depp has revealed that he does not regret working on The Tourist.

The movie saw him work alongside Oscar winner Angelina Jolie for the very first time but despite the high profile cast the movie struggled at the box office as well as being heavily criticised by the critics.

Despite the poor reviews and performance Depp has picked up a Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his central performance.

But that actor would still make the movie if he had the choice again.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly the actor said: "I'd do it exactly the same. I wanted to work with Angelina and I felt like I had a good handle on the character.

"It was not a character that I'd really played before."

"I don't know the main ingredient of success at the box office. I just feel that's not something I can do anything about."

And it looks like Depp is going to dominate the big screen this year as he has already completed work on Rango, to which he lends his voice and The Rum Diary.

This May we will also see him return to the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: One Stranger Tides.
