Johnny Depp For Snow White?

Johnny Depp is rumoured to have been offered the role of the huntsman in new movie Snow White and The Huntsman.

Set to be directed by Rupert Sanders the movie will follow the huntsman who, instead of killing Snow White in the forest as ordered to by her wicked stepmother, he lets her go before teaching her how to fight back.

Charlie Theron has also been linked to the movie and is apparently being considered for the role of the evil stepmother.

Depp is currently filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth movie in the franchise, and will be back on the big screen this Christmas with The Tourist, which also stars Angelina Jolie.

It's been a busy year for the actor who enjoyed huge box office success with Alice In Wonderland earlier in 2010, the movie went on to break the $1 billion barrier.

He has already lent his voice to animation movie Rango and has completed work on The Run Diary, which also stars Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart and Giovanni Ribisi.

Snow White and The Huntsman is expected to hit cinemas in December 2012.
