Johnny Depp has revealed that a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie should not be rushed.
The actor revealed that he is not aboard any plans for a fifth movie in the popular franchise and says that it would all hinge on the quality of the script.
Depp is set to reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow later this month with On Stranger Tides.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter the actor said: "Boils down to story, script and filmmaker.
"It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012'.
"We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."
On Stranger Tides is the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie since 2007's At World's End - which was a big box office hit despite not doing well with the critics.
Rob Marshall is in the director's chair this time around while Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz are the new names on the cast list.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released 18th May.
