Funnyman Jonah Hill fears he has ruined his chances of ever getting closeto his sporting hero after upsetting Los Angeles Lakers basketball coach Phil Jackson by changing seats at a game.
The Superbad star, a longtime Lakers fan, was at a recent game when theproducers of comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm asked to switch seats withhim to shoot a scene.
I didn't realise that's not good etiquette during the middle of a basketball game
Hill graciously agreed, and when the shoot was finished and his seats vacated, he moved back, angering Coach Jackson.
Hill recalls, "I didn't realise that's not good etiquette during the middle of a basketball game. "We switched and all of a sudden Phil Jackson, who has never looked in our direction, just gets up and turns to us and says, 'Hey, this isn't musical chairs.
Next time you move around during a play-off (game), I'll kick you the f**k outta here.' "It was the most terrible feeling because I look up to this guy so much... It was like your dad telling you, like, 'I don't know how you came from me.'"
