Josh Brolin turned down a role in 'Terminator Salvation'.
The 'No Country For Old Men' star revealed he discussed the film with its star, 'The Dark Knight' actor Christian Bale, and although he liked the script, decided eventually to turn down the part of Marcus Wright, which was eventually taken by Sam Worthington.
Ultimately though I didn't think it felt right
Josh revealed: "I talked to Christian for a couple of hours. I really liked the script though I hear that's not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately though I didn't think it felt right."
Josh has sparked speculation that the movie is set to be a flop when he revealed that Christian had merely said "It's alright" when he asked how it was looking.
However, Christian's co-star Sam insists the 'American Psycho' actor's comments have been misconstrued.
He said: "For my knowledge, Josh hasn't seen our film. And knowing Christian I'm sure he would reserve his true judgement until the movie is complete. So I believe this comment shouldn't be given much weight.
"From my own eyes and early screening of 'Terminator Salvation', I can say that what I have seen and what director McG is putting together is exciting and a thrilling ride.
