Dame Judi Dench has voiced her support for the return of James Bond regulars Moneypenny and Q to return to the franchise.
The pair have been missing from the movies since Daniel Craig took over the role of 007 in Casino Royale, which took the franchise back to the beginning.
Of the cast that worked with Pierce Brosnan Dench's character was the only one that has appeared in the new movies as M.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph the actress said: "That would be good if it was thought right to bring back those characters."
Dench follows in the footsteps of leading man Daniel Craig who called for their return of Q last year telling Rotten Tomatoes: "We should give Q to a good actor. We should find an actor and find out what they think and find a good story.
"If we just drop it in there and then go to the basement and there is Q with exploding bananas, it is not going to work."
Desmond Llewelyn, who passed away in 1999 aged 85, played Q in 17 James Bond movies. John Cleese took over as MI6's gadget expert.
