Julia Roberts has called it a 'dream come true' to be able to work with Meryl Streep.

The two Oscar winners are set to star together in August: Osage County, which is an adaptation of the play by Tracy Letts.

Letts was on hand to pen the screenplay while John Wells is in the director's chair.

But it is working with Streep that has got Roberts all excited.

Speaking to On The Red Carpet the actress said: "It's getting there, it's getting exciting, for sure. I can't wait!"

"It's like a dream come true [to work with her]."

Roberts is back on the big screen this week in Mirror Mirror, which is a new telling of popular fairytale Snow White.

This is the first movie for the actress since she reunited with Tom Hanks for Larry Crowne.

Mirror Mirror is out now.
