Julianne Moore has dropped out of playing Hillary Clinton.

Hope David has replaced the actress in the role of the former First Lady-turned-Presidential candidate in 'The Special Relationship' - which looks at the bond between US President George W. Bush and then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair - after she was forced to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.

Julianne's cancellation is the second change to affect the project in recent weeks after Peter Morgan - who was to make his directorial debut from his own script - dropped out and was replaced by Richard Loncraine.

'The Special Relationship' sees 'Frost/Nixon' actor Michael Sheen take on the role of Tony Blair for his third project and Dennis Quaid as the US president.

Shooting starts on the movie in London on July 20.
