Steven Spielberg has revealed that a fourth Jurassic Park movie is in the pipeline.

The Oscar winning director admits that due to his heavy workload this year he hasn't really worked on the movie but it is definitely on the way.

Speaking to Coming Soon the filmmaker said: "I haven't been active in the last year because I've been so busy obviously on War Horse, Tintin and now I'm currently shooting Lincoln, but right now, it's on the schedule to bring out another Jurassic Park."

A Jurassic Park movie has not graced the big screen since Joe Johnston directed the third instalment back in 2001 - and it has almost been twenty years since the original graced the big screen.

But 2011 has been a very busy year for Spielberg as he has mixed a motion capture project with live animation.

He teamed up with Peter Jackson for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn - he announced earlier this week that Jackson will be shooting the sequel.

And the new year brings another project in the form of War Horse, a movie that is an early favourite to battle it out for the Best Picture Oscar.
