Justin Timberlake nearly chose to pursue an acting career rather than becoming a pop singer. The 'Sexyback' singer has taken a break from music to concentrate on acting, and stars alongside Mike Myers in 'The Love Guru', his biggest role to date.Justin, 27, has revealed a recent conversation with his stepfather reminded him just how close he was to trying to make it as an actor rather than concentrating on music.He said: "He reminded me - and I had totally forgot about this - but I got a phone call when I was 14 saying there was somebody down in Orlando and a record company and BMG in Europe that will sign me and I went. But two weeks before that, the plan was for me and him to drive to LA for a pilot season. So I guess everything turns out the way it's supposed to."Justin has also revealed he is a big fan of Myers' work and jumped at the chance to appear in 'The Love Guru'. He added: "I read the script and called him back and we talked about the character. I mean, it was too funny to pass up and it's Mike.
