Reeves Heads to Jail

Keanu Reeves spent last weekend (13Sep09) in jail - scouting out possible film locations for an upcoming project.

The Matrix star was granted special access to two penitentiaries in Buffalo, New York, touring the facilities on Sunday (13Sep09) for forthcoming movie Henry's Crime, in which he will play a man falsely accused of robbing a bank.

The visit was not without controversy - government officials maintain the 45 year old should not have been allowed in the prisons as they are currently under investigation as part of a court case.

The facilities have been targeted in a U.S. Justice Department lawsuit accusing the Sheriff's Department of Erie County, New York, of civil rights violations.
