Kelsey Grammer is to reunite with 'Cheers' co-star Bebe Neuwirth.
The actors - whose characters were married in the hit US sit-com but divorced in spin-off show 'Frasier' - have both signed up to appear in the upcoming musical remake of 'Fame'.
The pair will play teachers alongside Debbie Allen and 'Will and Grace' star Megan Mullally in the new version of Alan Parker's 1980 musical.
The film follows a group of students studying at the prestigious New York City High School of Performing Arts.
Kelsey will play an orchestra conductor, while Bebe - a talented dancer in real life - will be a dance instructor.
Debbie, who appeared as a dance teacher in the original movie, will take on the role of Principal Simms in the remake, while Megan will star as a voice coach.
Already cast in the film as pupils are newcomers Kristy Flores, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Naturi Naughton and Kay Panabaker.
'Fame', directed by choreographer Kevin Tancharoen, is scheduled for release next September.
